Dr. Anand Kumar, a Chartered Fellow (FCSI), Ph.D., MBA, LLB, PGDBM with Dip. in Training and Development, is a senior banking and insurance professional who holds a professional experience in handling financial and senior managerial operations in the UK, Singapore, and India. He also worked as a Visiting Fellow with Business School, University of Greenwich, London, UK for twelve years.
Kumar, after relinquishing executive board director responsibilities is now working as a Non-Executive Director and Board Member with two international banks. He is based in London, UK and keeps visiting the ground zero – Kusum Foundation.
He has been a staunch believer that educational growth will only transform rural India and help India achieve overall inclusive growth. Being an ardent supporter of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), a children’s charity, in the UK and consistently supporting ‘Save the Children’ Foundation, he started the Kusum Foundation in India to enable the rural young population to learn basic vocational skills which would augur towards a brighter future & self-reliance.
